It appears Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Not Get Single-Player DLC, Like GTA 5

Much like Grand Theft Auto V, it seems that Rockstar’s new game, Red Dead Redemption 2, also won’t obtain any single-player expansions. Lead online producer Katie Pica informed VG247 which Rockstar is entirely dedicated to working on Red Dead Redemption 2‘s online mode. “We are 100% concentrated on online at the moment, since like I mentioned, there is so much to do, and we are just hoping to attract everything a participant can appreciate about single-player to the internet world and fleshed out,” Pica said.

Red Dead Redemption 2’s most up-to-date content launch was the enormous Frontier Update, which introduced the first of the”Roles” which players may take in Red Dead Online. You may read more about the upgrade in GameSpot’s coverage.

Moving back into the VG247 interview, Red Dead Online manufacturer Tarek Hamad stated Rockstar as a business remains dedicated to multi-player games. Rockstar is famous for its narrative, and the narrative modes in GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption two were celebrated. “We all love single-player games, and Red Dead Redemption two’s completely massive story and both enormous epilogue are evidence of this,” Hamad said.

“The group’s aspirations for Red Dead Redemption two were sky high in every manner, and if we are building worlds of the scale, the single-player experience virtually always leads the way,” Hamad added. “Our aspirations to our online games are equally too large, as well as Red Dead Online we’re continuing to develop and expand to coordinate with the world we made for Red Dead Redemption two’s story, not only with the characters however other actions, fresh arbitrary occasions, characters to meet new methods to engage with the world and farther occupy your personality, in addition to attempting to enhance the total experience.”

Explaining why GTA 5 didn’t receive any single-player DLC, Rockstar issued a similar-sounding announcement year back. “We didn’t believe single-player expansions were possible or necessary, but we might well do them for future jobs,” Rockstar design manager Imran Sarwar said.

The brand new expansions for GTA Online and Red Dead Online are liberated, however, the online modes earn money out of microtransactions, which is rewarding.

In other news, Rockstar recently established its PC shop, which has again resisted the controversy and rumors which Red Dead Redemption two could come to PC.
