Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, the first dark trip starring the renowned mouse, opened at Hollywood Studios in Disney World today. On Tuesday night, right before the public opening on March 4, press had the chance to preview the trip and gather the first video footage of the tourist attraction in its whole. Those videos rapidly flooded YouTube, and y’ all, the trip looks wonderful.
The tourist attraction appears to have more in typical with the brand-new technically fancy Star Wars trips than much of the dark trips devoted to other renowned Disney animated characters. The environment blends 3D animatronics, forecast mapping, real sets, and substantial high-resolution screens.
