The first season of the ‘Ferrari Hublot Esports Series’ is revving up on the start grid. The new GT Esports championship is being arranged by Ferrari in Europe on the “assetto Corsa” software platform developed by Kunos Simulazioni. The Esports drivers will do battle in a number of competitions aboard the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo, which is being made available specifically to participants.
Pre-entries open on Monday, August 7, and will be booked entirely for European people of 18 years andover Sim racers will need to sign up, entirely free, on the websitewww.ferrariesportsseries.gg The first round of the championship is Qualifying for the AM Series beginning in September. The winners of this will join sim racers welcomed by Ferrari to the PRO Series, a classification numbering 24 Esports drivers who will compete on the exact same circuits as their AM equivalents. The 12 fastest drivers in each classification to emerge from the 4 October races will go forward to the finals in November when the total winner will be chosen over 3 races.
The winner’s prize is a real dream come true: the total champ will be provided the chance to join the FDA Hublot Esports team for the following season. Said team currently numbers ruling F1 Esports Drivers’ Champ Tonizza and Enzo Bonito, an extremely skilled sim racer. Charles Leclerc, ambassador for the championship and a big Esports fan himself, will be following all the phases extremely carefully and offering participants recommendations based on his experience as both a real and Esports driver.
The Title Partner of the Series is Hublot, for that reason broadening its partnership with Ferrari in the Esports world, while the Technical Partner is Thrustmaster, already including Ferrari licensed guiding controllers and wheels for pc and console platforms.
