From September 2020 to Summer season 2021: the roadway to the Rainbow Six World Cup

From amateur competitive scenes which began just 5 years ago, Rainbow Six Siege has developed into Ubisoft’s top-tier esports title, with more than 60 million players worldwide, and 40 expert teams contending in 4 strong local leagues throughout The United States and Canada, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. The Rainbow Six World Cup is the latest addition to the Rainbow Six Esports community, as an independent layer of competition and the first ever country-based tournament for the game.

The Rainbow Six World Cup will include a total of 45 countries and areas throughout 2 phases. The Qualifier Phase will take place during the first half of 2021, while the Last will take place during the Summer Season of 2021. 14 countries and areas will get a direct welcome to the Last and, in addition, 31 other countries will participate in online qualifiers to compete for one of the six staying available slots. Eventually, 20 teams will be contending in the Last of the World Cup.
