Sony’s Jim Ryan has confirmed that the PS4 will continue to be supported for the next 3 to 4 years.

In an interview with the Washington Post, Jim Ryan specified that he anticipates 4 years of PS4 assistance after the PS5 launches with Sony revealing their assistance for the console for that period of time. This is great news for those who aren’t updating consoles immediately and look to update in the coming years.

The PS5 launches on November 12, 2020, in the US and November 19, 2020, in the EU and UK.
