Atlus online survey measures interest in consoles, genres and franchises

Atlus opened one survey on the Japanese website, asking members of the fan base for their opinions on titles and genres. The survey will run for 45 minutes and will be available March 5-8, 2021. As an aside, on March 7, 2021, the website will be offline from 2-7am JST for maintenance.

The survey is in Japanese only, but Atlus fans do not need to be from Japan to participate. The survey responses are designed to explore interest in genres and intellectual properties and help them create more unique and engaging titles in the future.

The first 23 questions focus on your gaming habits, such as questions about what devices you have and how many hours you play during the week or on weekends. From question number 24 onwards, the questions start to get more specific. The survey asks which games (based on both Atlus and non-Atlus traits) you heard about and which ones you actually played and bought. Obviously it will take longer the more games you select.

After question 48, the survey focuses more on Atlus franchises, such as PersonaIt asks for your thoughts on the games and checks if you are interested in seeing different genres across multiple platforms. For example, you can show interest in a Persona board game playable on Nintendo Switch. For users who prefer to play games through Steam, this is an opportunity to let them know. Sega Chief Executive Haruki Satomi noted in the past that he wanted to release more Atlus features on Steam.

The survey, which is in Japanese only, will be available on the official Atlus website until March 8, 2021.
