P. Craig Russell‘s adaptation of Neil Gaiman‘s Norse Mythology continues June 16, with Norse Mythology II # 1 of Dark Horse

Norse MythologyThe first series ran in 2020, where P. Craig Russell teamed up with a slew of skilled comic artisans on these six songs. You saw Russell’s work next to his Jerry Ordway Mike Mignola Jill Thompson David Rubin, and Piotr Kowalski
Norse Mythology II runs for six issues, and a third run of six issues is expected sometime next year.
This is the latest Gaiman adaptation from P. Craig Russell – he custom made before American gods, murder mysteries, and Coraline for images, panels and captions.
Neil Gaiman’s prose book Norse Mythology was released in 2017 and became a New York Times bestsellerThe book was a longtime devotee of mythology and author Gaiman’s opportunity to re-imagine the sweeping stories of the Nordic pantheon to today’s audience.
In an interview with Weekly entertainment at the time of the book’s original release huh said
“Mythologies tell us about being human. They are delicious, they are timeless. They must be retold. It’s like I’m a musician looking at great old folk songs and making a covers album, trying to make them sound modern with electric guitars. I say, ‘Here are the stories. I polished them and now give them to the world. “”
