Arkane Lyon’s titles were recently added to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service and they are happy with it.
Deathloop director Dinga Bakaba shared a statement with the media press start in an interview about what he thought of the games from the studios that came to the popular subscription service. He sees this in a positive light and thinks that it allows them to continue to do creative projects.
Bakaba did say that ZeniMax Media joined Microsoft after the purchase came to a surprise to them. Since they were under ZeniMax, they had to join Xbox Game Studios. However, it did them good.
“Being part of the Xbox Game Pass ecosystem makes things a little bit different for us, because we can occupy a space in that service, and we’ll continue to make the kinds of games that we make and make them right,” said Bakaba.
“If you’ve looked on social media you’ll see games like Prey and Dishonored 1 and 2 coming to Xbox Game Pass. A lot of people say you should play these games and you have no excuse not to, so it’s was very encouraging. “
“It’s a service that allows us to stay creative and have the audience and build that relationship over time, and that’s really exciting.”
Deathloop launches on May 21 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
