A Diablo II Resurrected Alpha test could very well be inbound as a Korean test date was briefly leaked through the South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC).
At first spotted by Blizzard forum user “낙타 가 낙타 낙타”, the ‘leak’ penetrated quickly RedditApparently, the Korean Game Management Committee briefly registered a testing schedule for the upcoming title in Korea. According to the now-deleted schedule, the test will take place from April 9th until April 13th with Blizzard allowing up to 19,999 testers ages 18 and up.
Fortunately, don’t forget the Internet and website Inven.co.kr (as caught by eagle-eyed Blizzplanet forum user ‘Flam744) managed to take a screenshot of the schematic before drawing it. We have included this screenshot below.
Other than this schedule, no further details about this alleged Alpha were revealed. It’s worth noting, however, that the Diablo II: Resurrected internal alpha client was updated yesterday, and a new subdomain was reportedly added to the diablo2.blizzard.com website last week.
Diablo II Resurrected was officially announced at Blizzard’s BlizzConline event in February this year. As confirmed by the game’s lead producer Chris Lena, a multiplayer stress test begins after a single-player alpha. Those interested can still sign up for the games technical Alpha here
Diablo II: Resurrected is scheduled for release on PC and Xbox Series X / S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch later this year. For PC players, see the game’s official system requirements here.
