Since its reveal in BlizzConline earlier this year, Diablo II: Resurrected has entered the alpha testing phase and players can sign up to be invited to test the remaster of what was once the best RPG of its time.
Diablo II: Resurrected’s Alpha Test features the first two full acts in single player mode. Players can navigate dangerous areas of eastern Khanduras from the Rogue encampment to the monastery, then head east to walk the sands of sun-drenched Lut Gholein.
In addition, players can test 3 of the beloved characters: the Barbarian, Amazon and the Sorceress. There is also no level cap, so you can level up your characters and upgrade all skills and abilities. However, progress will not carry over to the launch version.
When does the technical alpha start and which platform?
Diablo II: Resurrected Technical Alpha will run from April 8 at 10:00 am Pacific Time (PT) (Early Access) to April 12 at 10:00 am PT.
The Tech Alpha is only available on PC.
Does the game require an “always online” connection?
To ensure the safety of the technical alpha, a constant online connection is required during gameplay. (A constant internet connection is not required for the final version of the game.)
Will those who sign up for the Tech Alpha receive an invitation?
Technical Alpha will be available in most regions to a limited number of participants. You can register here or sign up for the technical alpha test: Diablo2.com
Diable II: Resurrected is expected to launch later this year.
