One of the strangest competition reality shows is coming back to haunt viewers. This time, Dragula joins the other horror and macabre-inspired shows on the streaming service Shudder.
Deadline reports that Shudder has acquired the rights to season four of Boulet Brothers’ Dragula and debuts exclusively on the streamer in all areas, in addition to the previous three seasons. In the 10-episode fourth season, the drag artist will compete for the biggest prize to date, $ 100,000.
Like it RuPaul’s Drag Race but with a darker and more progressive edge, Boulet Brothers’ Dragula sees drag artists from all over the world come together to create works of art for the demented hosts, known as The Boulet Brothers.
“Joining forces with Shudder marks the beginning of an exciting new era for Dragula of the Boulet brothers, and season 4 is about to be the most ambitious season yet, ”said the Boulet Brothers. “We’ll be showcasing some of the most groundbreaking drag art in the world, and with $ 100,000 at stake, the competition (and the challenges) will be deadly.”
“We are delighted to be working with the incredibly talented Boulet Brothers on a new season that will be bigger, better and more outrageous than ever,” said Craig Engler, General Manager of Shudder. “This show brilliantly blends underground drag and horror, showcasing a diverse group of artists, and we’re excited to bring it to Shudder members in addition to all three previous seasons.”
