People will have to wait even longer to play Arkane Lyon Deathloop, as it is being postponed again. The official Twitter account confirmed the latest launch date. The new Deathloop release date is September 14, 2021, instead of May 21, 2021.
Here is Game Director Dinga Bakaba and Art Director Sebastien Mitton’s official statement on the latest delay. The desire to ensure the well-being of Arkane Lyon staff and quality issues were cited as the two reasons behind the decision.
We have decided to launch the Deathloop until September 14, 2021.
We are committed to quality and maintaining the ambitions of our team Deathloop while ensuring the health and safety of everyone at Arkane. We will use this extra time to achieve our goal of creating a fun, stylish and mind-blowing player experience.
We apologize for the long wait and thank you all for your passion and excitement. It is the fuel that drives our creativity and hard work. We can’t wait to show you more Deathloop soon!
This is one of many delays. It originally had a preliminary Q4 2020 release window. However, it didn’t make that, and Deathloop was delayed until the second quarter of 2021. This latest delay adds an additional waiting period of four months.
Which Deathloop Postponed again, it is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC on September 14, 2021. It is an exclusive timed console.
