After weeks of regular stock updates, deliveries of PS5 consoles in the UK have completely dried up.

There have been few PS5 stock declines in recent weeks, reportedly due to shipping issues.

According to PS5 UK Stock – Instant Updates, stock releases were scheduled for every week in April until the trouble started.

The silver lining, however, is that the shipment of PlayStation 5 consoles has already been sent to stores in May.

With April’s shipping also underway, customers can expect a massive influx of consoles in the coming weeks.

“All UK PS5 stock delayed due to shipping issues,” reads a PS5 UK Stock tweet. “A stock release was planned every week.

“Good news is Sony is shipping May’s stock, we’re getting April and May’s # PS5 stock together, so huge windows by the drop!”

It has been a slow week for resupply, with only small batches available in local stores across the country.

Next week seems like a similar story, although there is always a chance that the delayed shipping will arrive in stores.

It’s also worth contacting local electronic and video game stores, especially now that they’ve reopened after locking.

Replenishing in-store consoles is a great way to encourage customers to shop in person.

In addition to transportation issues, another reason the console is so difficult to obtain is a lack of components.

Sony CFO Hiroki Totoki recently said that production of PS5 consoles has taken a hit in recent months. This is due to a lack of semiconductors and other components.

“It is difficult for us to increase the production of the PS5 with a shortage of semiconductors and other components,” explains Sony CFO Hiroki Totoki.

“We have not been able to fully meet the high demand from customers [but] we will continue to make every effort to ship as many units as possible to customers waiting for a PS5. “

Anyone who manages to get their hands on a PS5 is in for a treat, especially with the new games coming to the console soon.

Upcoming game releases include Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Resident Evil Village, Deathloop, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Horizon Forbidden West.

Then there’s the upcoming shooter Returnal from Housemarque, which will be released exclusively on PS5 on April 30.

“After crash-landing on a shape-shifting alien planet, Selene must fight tooth and nail to survive. Time and again she is defeated and must resume her journey every time she dies,” the official description read.

“In this roguelike shooter, both the planet and your equipment change with each cycle, requiring you to adapt your play style and take on new challenges.”
