With all the secrecy surrounding Marvel Studios projects, Kevin Feige’s Spider-Sense will have gone insane in recent days, what with Alfred Molina revealing about his return as Doc Ock in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home, and now we have an alleged plot leak for Marvel and Sony’s upcoming threequel that – if true – betrays pretty much the entire movie. With that in mind, proceed with caution as major spoilers may follow …

First, it’s worth noting that the plot leak comes via Reddit, which traditionally means there’s a good chance it’s nothing more than fan fiction. Adding some credibility to this particular ‘leak’ is the fact that the poster, SpideyForever245, accurately revealed that Julia Louis-Dreyfus was the surprise cameo this week The Falcon and the Winter Soldier the day before the episode aired. Is that enough to believe they somehow got the inside? Spider-Man: No Way HomeYou have to judge that for the time being, but (via Comic book movie), here’s the alleged information:

  • Time is skipped, Peter Parker is in court, a lot happens while he tries to prove his innocence.
  • The multiverse is breaking [and] there are villains from other worlds. Doctor Strange tries to catch them and put them in a special prison he created. The villains somehow escaped because Peter messed with some magic to clear his name [and it’s] now it’s up to him to get them back in prison.
  • Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are in the second and third acts of the film.
  • There are some scenes with Maguire and Garfield alone.
  • The last act of the film is on the Statue of Liberty, which now looks like a large Captain America with the shield. The villains are all there. Holland, Maguire and Garfield too. There is a Stark Arc Reactor de [villains] fight over.
  • All villains except Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin end up in that prison. The Goblin is killing someone … I’m not sure who, but Tom Holland’s Peter cried and got so angry that he tried to kill Goblin and almost did.
  • The movie ends with Peter finishing high school … it seems everyone still knows he’s Spider-Man at the end.

The alleged leaker also went on to ‘confirm’ that Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock is featured in the film, while the potential victim of the Green Goblin continues to circulate on social media that both Aunt May and Ned Leeds were murdered. It’s unclear if Norman Osborn is responsible for both deaths, or if one of the many other villains will get their hands dirty too.

So, what do you think of these rumors? Do you think there could be any truth to them, and if so, what do you think about the plot? Let us know on our social channels @ FlickeringMyth …
