Red Dead Redemption 2 new mod introduces World Persistence for enhanced immersion

Recent articles

A new Red Dead Redemption 2 mod released online a few days ago greatly improves immersion by adding world persistence to the game.

The Enhanced Entity and World Persistence mod ensures that the world is not restored the moment the player leaves a specific location. This opens up a lot of interesting gameplay options not available in the vanilla game.

Tired of the world repairing and cleaning itself the moment you leave the scene?
Tired of the vehicles and horses you intended to disappear later, maybe just debris?
Red Dead Redemption 2 Enhanced Entity and World Persistence have you covered, will no longer hit the road, leaving everything looking pristine when you turn around

How it works:

Objects, vehicles, weapons, horses and corpses are tracked by default
Any entity you interact with is added to the “Persistence Ring” which is user configurable
Wilderness and city entities are tracked differently, in cities the radius is much smaller by default to be more performance friendly
Many optimizations have been implemented to ensure that the game is running as well as the unmodified state, by default the mod has a performance monitoring system that dynamically activates and deactivates the mod based on a user-configurable frame rate

Bonus material:

This mod makes the witness system more interactive and even stimulates hidden bodies on the road

The Red Dead Redemption 2 Enhanced Entity and World Persistence mod can be downloaded from Nexus mods.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available worldwide for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
