The Ultimate Team event is back for 2021, with the first FIFA 21 TOTS players to be revealed later this week.
The season’s FUT Team roster is a much-discussed launch and fans have had their say.
The FIFA 21 TOTS voting system has been available for the past week and allows gamers to decide who will make the final community team.
Voting is now closed and EA Sports is now deciding who makes the final decision for the new Team of the Season.
There is a long list of players to choose from at each position, and EA Sports has confirmed that gamers will be a big part of the final result.
A message from EA Sports added, “Your chance to help decide who will make the selection from a shortlist of the most consistent players of the 2020/21 season who have earned up to one special item in FUT 21 – with no more than four players of the same league. “
Fans had to select 11 players from 100 nominees announced by EA Sports last week.
And while gamers will be a fair share of the final roster, it should be noted that the community’s final TOTS team will be determined by a combination of fan and EA votes.
Fans have made their prediction for the new FIFA 21 Community Team of the Season and this is who made the shortlist at the Mirror:
- DM: Peter Gulacsi (RB Leipzig)
- RA: Aaron Wan-Bissaka (Manchester United)
- CB: Edmond Tapsoba (Bayer Leverkusen)
- CB: David Alaba (Bayern Munich)
- LA: Lucas Digne (Everton)
- CM: Tanguy Ndombele (Tottenham Hotspur)
- CM: Federico Valverde (Real Madrid)
- CAM: Angel Correa (Atletico Madrid)
- LW: Harvey Barnes (Leicester City)
- ST: Duvan Zapata (Atalanta)
- RW: Leon Bailey (Bayer Leverkusen)
As always, the event is expected to be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and will likely feature several TOTS combos.
The first is a new Community FIFA 20 TOTS lineup, in which fans will also vote.
When it comes to the final unveiling, the FIFA 21 TOTS Community release date appears to be set for Friday, April 23, 2021.
This should be the day the final vote is revealed and we know exactly who will make the final 11.
It should be noted that most FIFA 21 promos are released around 6pm BST, although player selection could be announced a little earlier.
Other squads from the squad are expected to follow, including news for EFL players, Rest of the World, Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga and La Liga.
More news is expected to be revealed about the other Team of the Season leagues after the community roster rolls out.
But for now, we don’t know the entire lineup, or what order they will arrive in until EA Sports officially spills the beans.
A Premier League roster is expected to be among the first to be revealed to gamers on PS4, Xbox One and next-gen consoles.
