Tree! Studios has announced the next chapter of its Dune comic book titles come in July with Dune: Blood of the Sardaukar, a self-contained story that expands the mythology of Frank Herbert’s classic novel from New York Times bestselling authors Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson (Dune: House Atreides), and illustrated by artist Adam Gorham (The New Mutants: Dead Souls, Punk Mambo).
When the choice is revenge or honor, what is the core of a Sardaukar? Jopati Kolona is one of the Sardaukar: the emperor’s elite military unit. The Sardaukar are unbeatable, unyielding in their devotion to the Emperor, and feared throughout the galaxy. When Jopati meets Duke Leto of House Atreides, the house he believes is responsible for the destruction of his home planet and family, he will be forced to question a lifelong hatred. Jopati’s task of overthrowing Atreides’ stronghold on Dune for his master will be forced to choose between duty and forgiveness.
