PS5 Stock UK: When will PlayStation 5 stock be back at Argos and GAME?

Recent articles

May appears to be when PS5 stock returns to major retailers such as Argos, Smyths Toys and GAME.

The downside is that the last week of April is not expected to offer much for those still looking for a next-gen console.

Surprises can always happen, but based on the information we have; things are going to pick up again in the week of May 10th.

Thursday was the most recent PlayStation 5 drop, which came from Smyths Toys, only including Digital Edition consoles.

The good news is that the next PS5 stock drop will be in May and will feature delayed consoles arriving in April.

This means more shares will be picked up next month, and it looks like they will come from Smyths, Argos and GAME.

These are some of the most prolific console providers in the UK, although all three struggle to keep up with demand.

UK retailers who were unable to purchase PlayStation 5 consoles in April due to delivery delays have a better chance next month.

Knowing there are more PlayStation shares to come is important, but console hunters also need to know the best ways to get shares from each platform.

Here are a few examples of how best to buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

AMAZON UNITED KINGDOM: Amazon UK is under better tension, but still has a few notable kinks. Having an account with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checkout.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer offering the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. GAME is expected to get the next major addition in May 2021.

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and not being able to complete purchases when there is a lot of site traffic. Stock trackers suggest using the Argos mobile app and keeping an eye on the local store listings. Argos is not expected to receive any more shares until May 11.

The latest from the Argos support team is that more next-gen consoles are on the way, but they don’t offer any form of ETA or countdown.

“We are currently working hard to replenish the PS5 / Xbox Series X supply,” argos reported on Twitter.

“Please keep an eye on our website, there you will find the most up-to-date information about the current stock.”

PS5 inventory issues are expected to continue in June 2021, with supply expected to exceed demand in the second half of this year.

It is unclear whether more PlayStation 5 consoles will come with a disc drive or more digital edition.
