Mortal Kombat Credits: Is there a post-credit scene after Mortal Kombat?

Recent articles

Mortal Kombat started as a video game in 1992 and soon spawned spin-off games that fans took the opportunity to play. A live action movie was made in 1995 and the sequel, called Annihilation, was released in 1997. Now the movie side of Mortal Kombat has been revived with a new movie that has already won a number of fans.

Is there a post credit scene for Mortal Kombat?

Surprisingly, given the way the game takes you through levels and continues for a while, there is no post credit scene.

Instead, there are scenes that reference other movies, which may not require credits.

Joe Taslim, who plays Sub-Zero, has revealed that he has already signed up for four movies if the reboot is a success, which means there’s a chance there are quite a few more movies on the way.

In addition, Todd Garner, one of the film’s producers, said he had considered a Johnny Cage standalone movie.

Todd said, “Johnny Cage lives in the Mortal Kombat universe,” but although he doesn’t appear in this movie, the main character, Cole, leaves to meet him in Los Angeles.

Co-writer Greg Russo told the publication that he sees this as a trilogy, meaning that even if Joe’s four films don’t come to fruition, the writers are willing to make at least four films happen.

Finally, the movie itself is beautifully set up for a new episode.

In addition to Cole heading to LA to look for Johnny Cage, several other Mortal Kombat icons appear in the movie, albeit in cameo form.

It would seem strange to them not to make a bigger splash, suggesting that at least one more movie could give them a chance to do just that.

What do critics think of Mortal Kombat?

On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, Mortal Kombat has received fairly mixed reviews, scoring 55 percent.

Rolling Stone’s K. Austin Collins said, “It’s decent entertainment – refreshing, in fact, to find ways to navigate the familiar pivot points on his own terms.

“The important thing is that it does what is ultimately its most important task.

‘It helps us for the continuation. And many of us will eagerly watch it. “

Bob Strauss of the San Francisco Chronicle added, “Combat is imaginatively conceived and presented with satisfying punch, framed and edited in a way that reflects the athletic choreography.

“And there’s no obscure ’90s shortcut to screw up these sequences.”

But not all critics were so enamored with the film, and The Guardian’s Benjamin Lee added, “Mortal Kombat would have benefited from a number of things – a sharper sense of humor, a more coherent script, a bit tighter editing, less techno music – but the pure manic energy may be enough for some. “

Hollywood Reporter’s John DeFore said, “While gaming die-hards can enjoy this riff on famous characters and murders, Kombat looks pretty rinky compared to the thrilling rides that Marvel regularly challenges.”

Mortal Kombat is not available to watch in the UK – Express.co.uk will update this as soon as information is available.
