Amazon Prime subscribers have just found out when the Prime Day 2021 sale will take place. Amazon Prime Day is usually scheduled for July every year, but things were drastically different in 2020. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Amazon Prime Day 2020 sale was pushed back to October – about three months after the exclusive sale bonanza usually takes place.

Thankfully, Prime Day’s edition will not only take place earlier this year, but sooner than ever before.

As reported by Android CentralAmazon CFO Brian Osofsky recently spoke about when Prime Day 2021 will take place during an earnings call.

And it looks like rumors of this year’s Prime Day launch in June could be true, with Osofsky revealing that exclusive savings for Prime customers will go live in the second quarter of this year.

The Amazon bigwig said, “July is a big holiday month, so it might be better to let customers, sellers, and sellers experiment with a different time period.

“We experimented the other way, in 2020 of course, moving it to October, but we think it might be better timing later in the second quarter. So that’s what we’re testing this year.”
