If you want to treat yourself to a new TV then it might be worth checking out what Argos has to offer. The UK retailer has just announced an exclusive sale that will lower the price of some Roku powered Hisense smart TVs.

For those who may not have heard of Roku, this streaming company makes it easy to tune in to a range of content from providers such as Netflix, Disney +, Prime Video, and Sky’s NOW service.

Roku usually sells individual devices to access this premium content, but it has also transferred its software to Chinese technology company Hisense. That means these new tellies provide access to popular platforms directly from the TV screen without the need for a dongle or additional set-top box.

Argos’ exclusive offering means you can currently choose one of these smart TVs at a discounted price. The 43-inch full 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range) model for just £ 279 – a savings of £ 50.

If you want something bigger in your living room then there’s also the 50-inch version for £ 349 – a savings of £ 50 or the 65-inch screen for £ 499 – a savings of £ 50.

Hisense is proud to offer these Roku powered tellies over 150,000 movies, TV shows and top sports action from Sky and BT Sport.

Of course you have to pay a monthly subscription to watch Disney +, Netflix, Prime, BT and Sky, but there is also plenty of free TV through Freeview Play.

This service provides access to more than 20,000 hours of content that is both live and on-demand.

A final bonus of these Hisense sets is that they come with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration, so you can easily search for your favorite entertainment and even turn your TV on and off with your voice.

It’s not just Argos cutting prices over this Bank Holiday weekend and Currys is offering some big discounts too.
