Mass Effect Legendary Edition won’t be released until May 14thth, but we already know the details about the game’s pretty big day-one update.

Like most recent titles, the upcoming remaster will receive a patch on day one to address several issues that have recently come to light. While most day-one patches to ship weigh in at an average size, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition day-one update is quite large – as revealed on the patch update page Orbispatches.comclocks the 1.01 patch at 11.8 GB on PlayStation platforms. So what does this update do? Apart from various content and crash fixes, the day-one patch will also improve stability. In addition, it improves the game’s performance and adds improvements to Ambient Occlusion in addition to improvements in lighting.
