Vault of Glass, Destiny’s first-ever foray, is coming to Destiny 2 on May 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Vault of Glass would be the raid that laid the foundation for all of Bungie’s raids, which are one of the best cooperative FPS experiences in the video game industry.

In the most recent weekly TWABBungie has briefed on how the heist will be bought in the Season 14 sequel. Bungie stated that their main goal is to keep the heist familiar with what it was in the original game, while making minimal updates to keep it up to standards bring. from Destiny 2.

One of the changes we do know is that the robbery opening playroom will be a private space. This is in contrast to the original raid where the first meeting takes place in a public space where any passing guardian can assist in the encounter. This is because the public space of Venus where the vault is located is not being repurchased.

There will also be the world’s first race along with a Contest mode that will make it more difficult as it will be capped at 1300 power level for the first 24 hours. But once you clear the heist you won’t get the world’s first, but once you do the heist it will unlock a few challenges called Tempo’s Edge.

The triumphs open up a new Challenge mode that requires the Tempo’s Edge Triumphs, and if a team fails to make it to the triumphs in Challenge mode, the team wipes away. The world’s first belts will feature a silver aesthetic and bear the clan name of the original World’s First fireteam (Primegaurd / math class) who completed the raid in 2014.

There hasn’t really been any talk about which loot will return as Bungie tries to keep that a surprise. In addition, the Raid will have a hard mode along with all raids in the future seasons, as mentioned in the 2021 annual update.

Vault of Glass returning from the Destiny Content Vault is part of Bungie’s plan to fill Destiny 2 with more content after it conquers many spaces and incursions with its latest expansion, Beyond Light. As a Destiny 2 player who has never played the original game, I am excited to play the heist that set the course for the future of the franchise.
