Fans of Grand Theft Auto have found out when the GTA 6 release date could be. It’s been over eight and a half years since GTA 5 first came out and – it looks like – the wait for the next entry in the series, GTA 6, will be a lot longer. Leaker Viewer Anon, who are known for their movie leaks, has admitted when the GTA 6 release date could be.

And, according to the leaker, GTA 6 won’t be released until “the end of 2023”.

The Twitter user responded to reports that new game tester jobs that Rockstar Games is promoting could be a sign that the GTA 6 release date is nearing.

ViewerAnon’s tweet said, “Gamers suspect GTA 6 is on the decline shortly after Rockstar puts ad-like game testers”.

In response, the leaker wroteTo: “Define ‘soon’. Companies test games * year *.

“(And last year, Rockstar had internally set GTA VI for release in late 2023)”.

ViewerAnon’s comments were flagged in a post on Reddit, saying the leaker had a “good” track record.

The latest rumors about GTA 6’s release date come after Jason Schreier was recently asked when the next GTA might be out.

On Twitter, the well-known Bloomberg reporter was asked, “Jason do you still expect GTA VI to be released around 2023? As you said on the Triple Click podcast last year.”

Schreier replied, “Expect everything to be much later than you might think because of Covid”.

If GTA 6 finally releases in “late 2023”, as rumored, it would mean it would launch ten years after the initial release of GTA 5.

The story of Trevor, Michael, and Franklin first debuted on PS3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, before moving to PS4 and Xbox One in the following years with a PC release in 2015.

GTA 5 is also getting an enhanced edition for the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S, due out in the second half of this year.

This upcoming release means that when all is said and done, GTA 5 will be released on three different console generations – which is not only unheard of, but also underscores the enduring popularity of the Rockstar Games hit title.

Last year, GTA 5 sold 20 million units, which is the highest number since the game was first released in 2013.

It is the most successful entertainment asset of all time.
