Bandai announces five new Demon Slayer Gashapon figures

Bandai has announced five new Demons killer Gashapon set to hit stores in Japan in late May 2021. As part of the “Narabundesu” line, the figures will be the third line-up in Gashapon’s Demon Slayer series. Newly added are Tengen, Obanai, Mitsuri, Sanemi and Genya. In addition, it also announced that the first series of Gashapon will be a return to stores in the form of a boxed set. This set contains all five figures from the first line-up, including Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Kanao. This boxed set costs ¥ 330 (about $ 3) and will also be available in stores by the end of May.

Both Gashapon figures are scrambled versions of the characters from Demons killer. Each figure is posed to show the character’s personality. Zenitsu, for example, can be seen crying while the passionate Mitsuri has a mouthful of what is most likely food.

Gashapon’s figure line is reasonably priced, giving consumers the entire cast of the Demons killer franchise without breaking the bank. The second line-up released in late April 2021, featured other Hashira, such as Kyojuro and Giyu. Megahouse also recently announced a GEM figure from Nezuko that fits in the palm of your hand.

Both sets of figures will hit Japanese stores in the fifth week of May 2021. Each figure in the third series costs ¥ 300, while the box set from the first series costs ¥ 330.
