Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will release on PC in September, developer Owlcat Games confirmed today.

The massive role-playing game, the sequel to Pathfinder: Kingmaker, will be released on PC via Steam and GOG on September 6 worldwide. Owlcat will talk about plans for a console release in the near future.

Anyone who contributed to the Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Kickstarter and Slacker Backer campaigns in the relevant tiers will also have access to the game’s second beta starting today. This new beta includes the first four chapters of the game, Crusade gameplay, new side quests, a weather system and more, as well as all of the content from the first beta.

Judging by this second beta, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is definitely on track to become one of the best RPGs of the year. The game promises to be a massive role-playing game with a deep and authentic Pathfinder experience.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous aims to become the role-playing game this year for lovers of classics like the Baldur’s Gate games, with all the features you’d expect in a cRPG, while introducing the mechanics that make the experience both more accessible and deeper.
