Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition looks absolutely fantastic and it is clear that 4A Games has put a lot of work into this, improving the visuals without sacrificing performance. In fact, subjectively it seemed to run even smoother than the original when played.

Most importantly, it did this for free to any existing owner of the original game. We certainly cannot say the same for other, larger developers and publishers.

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition is now available for PC. The Xbox Series X / S and PS5 versions will arrive on June 18 and are free to those who own the original version of the game.
