PS5 stock drops are inbound at Argos (Image: GETTY)
PS5 consoles will soon be topped up at retailers in the UK.
The next round of PlayStation 5 stock declines kicks off early next week at Argos.
That’s according to the latest PS5 UK Stock tweet, which you can see by scrolling down.
The Reliable Inventory Control Account claims that Argos will start shipping consoles to customers on Wednesday, May 12.
This makes it very likely that the console will be back in stock overnight, probably from 1.30am BST.
“ARGOS DELIVERY DATE CONFIRMED”, the tweet reads. Argos expected to ship PS5s from Wednesday. Suggests a drop for Tuesday or Wednesday. They usually come down around 1:30 am.
“We have provided PROOF of app malfunctions, distribution replenishment, store replenishment and now delivery date.”
After such a horrible month for PS5 stock declines in April, this is the first bit of really good news for PlayStation 5 customers.
In addition to Argos, there are reports that John Lewis is on the verge of falling as GAME is reportedly preparing one of the largest restocks to date.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether bots and scalpers will manage to get hold of all consoles and resell them at a higher price.
Prior to the stock shortage, retailers such as CEX started to lower the prices of the PlayStation 5.
The same was true for eBay, where average prices started to decline to reasonable levels.
Unfortunately, shortages have pushed prices back up, although not quite at the same level as before.
Now is an especially good time to grab a PlayStation 5 console as new games are launched.
This includes Resident Evil Village, which is out now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
A direct sequel to Resident Evil Biohazard, the new Resident Evil game featuring Ethan Winters again.
If you want to buy a copy of the new Resident Evil game, ShopTo will sell the game for £ 49.85.
