Seth Rogen and James Franco have been a force in Hollywood for quite some time. The pair have earned some cinematic gold by starring in the underrated TV series Freaks & Geeks on their blockbuster stoner comedy Pineapple Express. However, it seems those days are over.
In recent years, there have been several allegations of sexual misconduct against James Franco, the most recent coming from actress Charlyne Yi. Yi voiced her problems with Franco on the set of The disaster performer, going so far as to call Rogen an ‘enabler’.
Rogen has now finally addressed this drama in a recent interview with The Sunday Timessaying it’s’ no coincidence ‘that the couple haven’t worked together for quite some time and he thinks it will be like this for a while, while Rogen adds,’ the truth is I haven’t, and I’m not from plan to [work with Franco] straight away.”
When insisted on their relationship, Rogen replied, “I don’t know if I can define that now during this interview. I can say it, you know, it has changed a lot of things in our relationship and our dynamics. “
He also calls this a painful experience, but nothing like what the alleged victims went through: “I don’t feel sorry for myself in this situation.”
