The tech giant has confirmed that they have tech teams looking to fix tonight’s issues, preventing many from using Outlook.

While the Microsoft servers are not down tonight, the issues are preventing some users from viewing their emails on desktop or mobile platforms.

For some, Outlook does not display emails, or some of the text is missing or has a damaged font.

It’s unclear what’s causing tonight’s problems or how long they could last. The good news is that Microsoft is aware of the problems and is trying to fix them.

It should also be noted that while this outage is currently going on, the issues have not increased meaning it could remain a local issue.

When asked why Outlook does not display emails correctly, the official Microsoft Outlook account on Twitter explained:

“Thank you for indicating this to us; the technical team is aware and is actively working to solve the problem. We appreciate your patience while a solution is found. More details can be found under EX255650 in the administration center. “

A new update from the Microsoft 365 support team reveals more on the topic, adding, “We are examining the available data to isolate the root cause. Users with access to alternative protocols, such as Outlook on the web or Outlook Mobile, can use these as a possible workaround in the meantime. More details can be found under EX255650 in the admin center.

“We are investigating a problem with the visibility of e-mail messages in Outlook. Outlook on the Internet does not appear to be affected. “

More news of the outage is expected if Outlook services fail in the next hour.

A user suffering from tonight’s Outlook problems writes, “Also here in Los Angeles we have problems with Microsoft Outlook. Outlook does not display all emails. The problem started about 90 minutes ago.”
