This isn’t the first time Sky has added some fun phrases to help find shows on its service, with Line of Duty fans also being treated to a whole host of things to shout at their remotes, including ‘Who? is H?’ and “Mother of God”.
To coincide with the 10th anniversary of the epic fantasy show Game of Thrones airing in the UK, Sky Q now has over 25 fan favorite quotes and phrases. Using any of these quotes will send viewers to a specially designed ‘destination center’ where Sky brings together all of its Game of Thrones content. You can find all commands here.
Of course, that’s not the only thing you can try when barking orders at your remote while Sky recently added another useful feature as well. You can now easily find all of your favorite entertainment by voice and see personalized recommendations based on your viewing history and what’s trending by simply “What should I watch?” Say in your Sky Q voice remote.
You’ll then see things Sky think you’ll like and a recent update now means Disney + content will also be included. Give it a try and see what Sky recommends!
Fraser Stirling, Sky’s Group Chief Product Officer, said of the new position: “There is so much great entertainment that it can be difficult to know where to start. Our latest voice command, “What should I watch?” helps make searching easier so you can spend more time looking! Just say the phrase into your Sky Q voice remote to see the latest trending TV and custom recommendations, all in one place. “
