Leading up to the Final Fantasy XIV Digital Fan Fest broadcast, Square Enix has decided to watch the previously announced online Final Fantasy XIV art exhibition. The art show was originally scheduled to open in January 2021, but was delayed due to concerns about COVID-19. Now Square Enix allows online viewing of some of the pieces that will be part of the exhibit, including a Lego replica of The Crystarium found in Final Fantasy XIV. [Thanks, Gamer!]
The Final Fantasy XIV art exhibition would have displayed screenshots taken by players, and you can now view them through the online event website. More than a hundred screenshots are part of the exhibition. And, as previously mentioned, a Lego replica of The Crystarium is available to view. In addition to photos of the reconstructed city, Sqaure Enix also released a special video via the Final Fantasy XIV channel to fully describe the creation of the replica. You can watch the video below.
The Crystarium’s Lego replica contains over 200,000 Lego blocks and has a special LED installation to create the crystal that makes the in-game city glow. The video continues building the city’s base and even goes so far as to create Lego Chocobo and NPCs found in The Crystarium.
Final Fantasy XIV is available immediately for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
