Activision delivered some tasty teasers this week to launch the next Call of Duty Warzone and Cold War updates.

The Mid-Season patch is scheduled for release later this week, with new content going live in both games on May 20.

Before that date, however, there are a few things COD fans will want to check out.

First, there’s the new Call of Duty Warzone and Cold War trailer that will help build the excitement.

The 80’s Action Heroes trailer for Season three of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War & Warzone will be available to watch later today.

This is expected to focus on the new Rambo and John McClane skins that will go on sale on May 20.

These will be part of the new Cold War Mid-Season update, with the new Call of Duty trailer going live at around 5:00 PM BST.

Other ’80s heroes and cosmetics are expected to be revealed as part of the new trailer, which can also help tease out new content.

We already know there will be more Zombies action coming through Outbreak mode later this week, with developers Treyarch confirming the following:

“Black Ops Cold War Zombies is ready to kick into gear next week with the launch of our first Main Quest in Outbreak starting Thursday, May 20 at 10am PT! From there, we look forward to releasing a record number of quest-driven Zombies content as we prepare for the next chapters of the Dark Aether story.

“With our upcoming Outbreak Main Quests in both seasons three and four, the events unfolding in the Ural Mountains will instantly set the story for our next round-based map. If you haven’t jumped into Outbreak lately – or if you’re looking for a new reason to kill a few thousand zombies with your friends – now’s the time. “

New content is also coming to Call of Duty Warzone, although this may be more limited due to how the beginning of Season 3 was so focused on the new Verdansk map.

The good news for gamers on PS4 consoles is that they can pre-download the new Call of Duty Cold War Mid-Season update now.

The new patch weighs in at around 11 GB and can be installed on May 18 at 9:00 p.m. PDT (May 19 at 5:00 a.m. BST).

Warzone is expected to receive its own update on May 19 (May 20 in the UK), which should pave the way for the launch of the Call of Duty Mid-Season 3 patch.

More news about this week’s Call of Duty updates is expected to be shared by Activision in the coming hours.
