Colin Trevorrow, the director of Jurassic World: Dominion, has teased that the upcoming third film in the trilogy will be inspired by spy movies, specifically the Jason Bourne and James Bond franchises.
“I’m sure it’s no secret that we shot in the UK, we shot in British Columbia. We shot at Malta. And those essentially represent our locations. There’s one more important location that I don’t want to reveal just yet. But there’s every environment you can imagine, ecological environment, physical environment you can imagine, it’s represented in this movie, [because it] is a great world hopping adventure. It has a bit of Bourne and Bond and a bit of a spy movie thrown in. Spy movie, scientific thriller with dinosaurs,” Trevorrow said in an interview with Interview Collider.
While the plot details are still being kept a secret, Trevorrow has previously stated that the returning original trio of Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern will star in Jurassic World: Dominion – instead of short cameos like Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
