If you’re looking to upgrade your television for the Euros, or the barrage of great box sets and movies coming to streaming services this summer – there’s an incredible deal on ASDA right now. The supermarket chain has cut £80 off the cost of a 50-inch 4K TV.

That means you can pick up one of these sets for £299. The 50-inch Ultra HD television is built by Polaroid and comes with dozens of streaming services, including Netflix, BBC iPlayer, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video and more. So you don’t need to buy a streaming stick from Roku, Fire TV or Chromecast to watch the latest shows everyone is talking about. That makes this even more of a deal.

ASDA’s 50-inch 4K TV

If you’re struggling to catch the Euro 2020 action on your old television, this 50-inch Ultra HD TV from Polaroid has been reduced to £80 for a limited time. Unfortunately, this deal is only available in stores, but we have a link to help you find the ASDA closest to you.

This Polaroid 50-inch TV has an Ultra HD resolution, which has four times as many pixels as standard 1080p. It also supports Dolby Vision, an industry standard for High Dynamic Range (HDR) images supported by Disney+ and Netflix, to name a few. This takes effect automatically and provides greater detail in scenes with strong contrast between the darkest and brightest areas on the screen. There is also support for Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant built into the television.

So you can use the television as an Amazon Echo to pause or rewind – useful if you’re someone who regularly loses a remote.

There are also 3 HDMI 2.0 ports for all your set-top boxes, sound bars and game consoles. USB port and Bluetooth are also supported.

The only problem with this great TV deal is that it’s only available in stores. ASDA doesn’t make the 50-inch Ultra TV Polaroid available to buy online, so you’ll have to get in the car or bus and head to your local store. The £299 deal is only available while supplies last, so it’s safer to get to your nearest store sooner or later.
