Nefarious City is the first expansive area in Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, and hidden somewhere is a pocket dimension with an armor capsule. Between the sprawling dark cityscape is a small gap to another world that you can run through to collect the armor pod that provides a permanent improvement to anyone who finds it.
While it’s easy enough to get to the pocket dimension, it’s a little trickier to find. This guide will walk you through everything you need to do to find the area and collect the armor pod. Be wary of minor spoilers. It’s worth noting that while not necessary, it’s easy to complete this guide once you’ve unlocked the Phantom Dash.

Where to find the Pocket Dimension in Nefarious City
The pocket dimension in this part of the game can be found opposite the nightclub, not far from the bazaar where you first encounter Mrs. Zurkon. Cross the small bridge that leads north from the nightclub entrance, and if you’re looking for other collectibles it might be worth checking out some of the stalls in the area.
Once you’ve done that, follow the path north and turn right on the edge. Now in front of you should be one of the strange glowing trees of Nefarious City, but this one is something else. It almost looks like there’s a purple spider web across the tree, but on closer inspection, that’s actually a small chasm like the many you’ve traveled through at this point in the game.
Approach the gorge to open it in the pocket dimension where the armor pod is hiding.
How to reach the Armor Pod in Nefarious City
The pocket dimension is what’s left of the parade you participated in at the start of the game. Well, at least the remains of the balloons, and some mercenaries sent to finish you off. Use the balloons to bounce over the area and make sure you don’t get lost in oblivion. Use your hover and Phantom Dash to navigate safely.
Once you have deflated the first balloon, the enemies will start to notice you. Be ready to fight them as you wish. Once the area is clear, you can continue your journey and find the armor pod on a patch of floating earth. Once you collect it, use the fissures to go back to the pocket dimension entrance and return to Nefarious City.
