GENERAL
- All versions of Legends Ivan Rodriguez, Johnny Bench and Gary Carter now have the quirk of Pop Time. NOTE: The quirk will show up in the player item tab after the content deployment on 6/22/21 (around noon PT)
ONLINE FROM HEAD TO HEAD
- Fixed a crash that could occur if one player had a card face up on the screen when the other player stops
- Fixed an issue where home run replays would not play when the opponent presses X (PlayStation) / A (Xbox)
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur when exiting Showdown from the program menu
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in a pause menu after a pitcher injury
- Changed the ‘Accept Kindly Quit’ button from Square (PlayStation) / X (Xbox) to X (PlayStation) / A (Xbox)
- Fixed an issue where a runner would get a free base when stealing if the batter was hit with the pitch during a late bunt attempt
- Fixed a bug that caused players to “frozen” when a user intentionally walked away from multiple batters and stepped off and threw home
There are no changes to battle or gameplay balance in this update.
STADIUMS
- Plate Appearances now appear on the jumbotrons at American Family Field and Busch Stadium
- Fixed an issue where the ball could slip through the wall in Angel Stadium
- Fixed a collision issue around the left field foul pole in American Family Field that sometimes caused a foul ball to “distort” back into the stadium
ROAD TO THE SHOW
- Various repairs and adjustments to cameras and presentations in the dressing rooms
- Statistics collected by simming no longer count towards program progress
- Notable stats now appear on Jumbotrons
- Players are now eligible for rewards if they are on the injured list at the end of the season
FRANCHISE
- Fixed an issue that caused the default stadium image to appear in the Stadium Mapping Stadium menu
- Fixed an issue where the “Make Trade” option was not displayed for some eligible players in the Player Search screen
- The first game in the second half of the AA season was incorrectly called “Opening Day”
user interface
- The post-game mission list is now scrollable and shows all missions that have been progressed, and no longer shows missions for programs that have already been completed
- The bottom ticker no longer appears in any of the in-game shortcut menus
- Pause menu no longer appears during post-game highlight roll
- Other various UI tweaks and fixes
MISCELLANEOUS
- Various various crash fixes
- Several updates to Play by Play commentary
