With the latest new content update coming to an end, fans are eager to know what’s planned for Genshin Impact 1.7.

The next major game expansion is expected around July 16 and already has a lot of leaked information being shared online.

While Kazuha was the first character to arrive from Inazuma, they won’t be the last, and many more are planned.

Both Yoimiya and Ayaka appear to be joining him later this month, and the wait could be very short.

Ayaka has been leaked as a five-star character who will be a cryo sword user with a lot to offer to each roster.

It is expected to debut shortly after Genshin Impact 1.7 launches, perhaps as early as July 21st.

Recent reports also indicate that developers Mihoyo are thinking about making some map changes with Genshin 1.7, which extends to changing the arrangement of monsters in certain areas.

However, until the development team fully reveals its plans, we won’t know for sure if everything is planned for July and beyond.

So when can fans find out more about Gensin Impact 1.7 and its final release date?

A new leak this week suggests that Mihoyo plans to host an official livestream for the Genshin Impact 1.7 expansion on July 9.

There are also claims that this month’s livestream event will be held exclusively on Twitch and could be held very early in the morning for fans in the United States.

As always, reports like this should be taken with a grain of salt until we learn more from official sources.

If Mihoyo plans to host a livestream next week, gamers can expect more information around July 7.

Another benefit of Mihoyo hosting a livestream event this month is the release of new Genshin codes.

These offer free items and Primogems for fans to spend on whatever they want, and will likely go live right after the stream ends.

Some of the most recent codes released by Mihoyo include the following:

  • GENSHINGIFT – 50 Primogems and Three Hero Wits.
  • GENSHINGALAXY – 10,000 Mora and other items.
  • GENSHINEPIC – 10,000 Mora and other items.
  • GS6ACJ775KNV – 60 Primogems and 10,000 Mora.
  • SBNBUK67M37Z – 30 Primogems and Five Adventurer’s EXP.

Older Genshin codes from earlier this year include the following:

  • WTNTBYSZJNRD – Contains 100 Primogems, 10 Mystic Enhancement Ores.
  • 8A6ABHTH2N9Z – includes 100 Primogems, 5 Hero’s Wits.
  • UTNBBGSZ3NQM – contains 100 Primogems, 50000 Mora.

Mihoyo recently confirmed that it will host a crossover event between two of its leading games on July 9.

This includes Genshin Impact characters entering the Honkai universe, with Fischl joining the lineup.

A post from Mihoyo explains: “The popular character Fischl from Genshin Impact joins the game as [Prinzessin der Verurteilung!].

“Players can claim this SP battle suit for free with their first login. In the previous behind-the-scenes video, the Honkai Impact 3rd team shed light on how they faithfully imported Fischl, while giving her gameplay a Honkai twist and powering up her image by updating her model, animation and VFX.”
