Nexon has a new teaser website for a new, unannounced video game with a countdown timer that ends on July 10, 2021 at 8:00 PM Japanese time. At the end of the timer, Nexon will reveal more information about the title. The untitled game is slated for a winter 2021 release, with no further platform or regional details currently available. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Interestingly, the website features the phrase “to the back of the world” with the “R” flipped, along with several numbers and what appears to be a distorted cityscape in the background. There is currently no indication whether the game will be an all-original new IP or part of an existing franchise. Previously, Nexon has also partnered with other game studios to release games outside of Japan, such as the upcoming KonoSuba: Great Days mobile game.
In addition, both the Yamanote train line in Tokyo and the three large advertising screens in Akihabara will periodically play a countdown teaser trailer. Fans can expect the trailers from July 5, 2021 to July 11, 2021 on the E235 Yamanote train. Alternatively, the Akihabara teaser trailer will play from July 5, 2021 to July 10, 2021.
Nexon will announce more information about his new game on July 10, 2021 via the teaser website. Nexon’s new unannounced video game will be released in the winter of 2021. There is currently no confirmed platform, release date or region.
