New records show that the popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV recently once again surpassed the Steam record for concurrent players.
Game company Valve recently showed the official statistics of FFXIV’s concurrent player record and it shows that it has won 47,542 players online at one time. This surpassed the previous record of 41,200 days before the Shadowbringers expansion was released.
There is actually one reason for the sudden increase in players playing the game on Steam. This is because the popular World of Warcraft Twitch streamer Asmongold is trying out the game. He recently streamed it and many fans watched and joined in as well.
media outlet PCGamesN revealed that there were over 200,000 gamers who watched the Twitch streamer play the popular MMORG.
Final Fantasy XIV is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and PS5.
