Square Enix has the results of a survey throw after the Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier CBT. The results showed that 75% of the players were satisfied with the game. The closed beta test took place from June 1 to June 6, 2021, allowing players to participate in player-vs-player battles. As mentioned before, 75% of the players were satisfied with the title. This is divided into general satisfaction and very satisfied with the product. 39% of users said they were just happy with the title, while 37% said they were very happy with Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier.
The general reception of the Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier CBT also included impressions regarding the graphics and the general design of the arenas. Players indicated that the environments looked good. While some players said they weren’t necessarily good at battle royale titles, they enjoyed their experience. Additionally, players provided feedback on how different each lane felt. More than 60% of users said they felt there was a difference when selecting different jobs.
Finally, the most requested solution from players was related to movement and character controls adjustments. 42% of players expressed an interest in modifying this in some way. The second most requested adjustment was weapon movement and control, at 19%.
Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier will be released in 2021 on Android and iOS devices.
