Are you ready, soap fans? Virgin River is returning this Friday and followers of the series cannot wait to watch what happens next for Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson). Season 2 ended on a tense note after Jack was shot, and based on the previews we fortunately know that he’s going to survive. Now I just cannot wait to find out who wanted to kill him and why!
Virgin River season 3 is premiering on July 9, so get your wine and popcorn ready. This installment is bound to be another emotional one as we continue to follow the stories of these beloved main characters in the fictional California town. Though the new season is coming out way sooner than we expected it would, it still feels like forever since we caught up with Mel and Jack last when season 2 debuted in November 2020.
If you’d like a teaser for what we can expect in season 3, look below.
What is Virgin River season 3 about?
Here is the official synopsis from Netflix:
“In Virgin River season three, we’ve got even more drama in store for our beloved characters. Highlights include, a funeral, a fire, a divorce, a hurricane and a new romance, in a twist-packed season that’ll keep fans on the edge of their seats.”
Virgin River season 3 episode count
To plan out your watch party this Friday, you’ll need to know how many episodes Virgin River season 3 will run for. Similarly to the first two seasons, the third will have 10 episodes total. Each episode runs for about 45 minutes, give or take. That means you could totally knock the new installment out this weekend, and I’m sure many people will!
There are so many questions we need answered in Virgin River season 3, and not just the identity of who shot Jack. We also need to find out what happens to Paige while she’s on the run and Preacher is looking after Christopher, and how Charmaine and Jack will co-parent once the twins are born. Hopefully, we get everything we’re looking for and more when the new season comes out.
Be sure to stream Virgin River season 3 when it premieres this Friday, July 9, only on Netflix.
