Steam Summer Sale 2021
The Steam Summer Sale is about to end on PC.
Steam customers only have a short time left to take advantage of thousands of discounts on PC.
The Steam Summer Sale has an end date of July 8 and an end time at 6pm BST for fans living in the UK.
Based on previous years, the next Steam Sale won’t be until Halloween, so now’s the time to make your purchases.
There are thousands of games discounted on the Steam Sale, including titles like the excellent Loop Hero, as well as Sekiro, Battlefield V, Halo Master Chief Collection and Borderlands 3.
Looter shooter Borderlands 3 comes highly recommended, especially now that it costs just £16.49.
The Sims 4 has also been reduced in price, costing just £4.19. That’s a savings of 88% based on the original asking price of £34.99.
Elsewhere, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been reduced to just £36.84, while Far Cry 5 costs £4.99.
The Resident Evil 3 remake costs £16.49, as does the gory first-person shooter Doom Eternal.
Indie games have also received big discounts, such as Celeste, which costs just £3.74.
“Help Madeline survive her inner demons on her journey to the top of Celeste Mountain in this super-sleek, handcrafted platformer from the makers of multiplayer classic TowerFall,” reads the official description.
“The controls are simple and accessible – jump, jump and climb in the air – but with layers of expressive depth to master, with each death a lesson.
“Lightning fast respawns will keep you climbing as you discover the mysteries of the mountain and brave its many dangers.”
Another game worth checking out is ION Fury, a throwback shooter reminiscent of Duke Nukem 3D.
A highly entertaining shooter, ION Fury is reduced to just £7.79. That is a saving of 60%.
While Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison earned her code name to defuse bombs for the Global Defense Force, when the evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes members of his cybernetic cult on the streets of Neo DC, she knows it’s time to cause explosions rather than prevent them.
“Her quest to defeat Heskel leaves a trail of carnage across massive multipath levels full of massive explosions, more secret areas than we can count and inhuman enemies behind every corner.
“There is no recovering health here; stop taking cover and start running and shooting.”
