Game developers DICE and Ripple Studios have both confirmed that the upcoming video game Battlefield 2042 will feature remastered maps and possibly the mystery game mode.
In a recorded clip From an interview with representatives of the upcoming game’s developers, it was confirmed that remastered fan-favorite maps will be making a comeback. It’s not fully confirmed that it will be playable in any particular game mode that got REDACTED, but this could be the Battlehub mode that Tom Henderson recently claimed.
Henderson too shared recently the cards that will be coming to that particular game mode:
- Wake Island
- Siege of Shanghai
- Port of Arica
- Caspian border
Henderson claims these will be the remastered maps, but he’s not sure if it will actually be called Battlehub.
In any case, it has been confirmed that there will be remastered fan-favorite maps.
Battlefield 2042 launches on October 22, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
