In June 2021, Kojima Productions revealed Death Stranding Director’s Cut for the PS5. It returned again during the Sony July 2021 State of Play. While part of the look involved explaining what makes it different, something else important came up. We now know the Death Stranding Director’s Cut release date is September 24, 2021.
The new trailer begins with a brief summary of the game’s settings. Then it comes in the new content that people will experience. First, there are some hints of new battles Sam will be fighting. Humans will also be better equipped to face them, as there will be improved contact techniques, mounted machine guns, and a maser rifle to use. You can also hone your skills on a virtual shooting range.
Deliveries can also change. A Cargo Cannon appeared in the new footage. So did a Support Skeleton to make carrying all your packs easier. And a Buddy Bot is by your side to carry some of the load. You can also use vehicles on a Jump Ramp to better navigate the world.
The Death Stranding Director’s Cut The PS5 release date is September 24, 2021. The original Death Stranding is available on the PS4 and PC.
