It seems Matthew Vaughn can’t get enough of the world of espionage. While we wait for the pandemic-postponed The King’s Man to add to its $800 million franchise, the Super awesome director has gathered an impressive bunch of spies to craft his next action blockbuster Argylle.
Vaughn’s studio MARV has announced that Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas-Howard, Bryan Cranston, Dua Lipa (who will make her film debut and provide the soundtrack), John Cena and Catherine O’Hara will be the Argylle ensemble, and that the film will be released in front of the cameras in August
The movie, based on the upcoming novel ArgylleWritten by author Ellie Conway, it follows “Argylle,” the world’s greatest spy, as he becomes entangled in a world-wide adventure. It is the first part of a planned trilogy that will take the franchise from America, London and various locations around the world.

Vaughn, who will write to a script by Wonder WomanJason Fuchs said, ‘When I read this early draft manuscript, I felt like it was the most incredible and original spy franchise since Ian Fleming’s books of the 1950s. This is going to reinvent the spy genre.”
