Resident Evil Village sold 4.5 million units worldwide

Game company CAPCOM recently announced that the popular and latest video game Resident Evil Village has reached another milestone today.

RE Village has now sold 4.5 million copies worldwide, according to Japanese gaming magazine famitsu. This includes both physical and digital releases of the game. There are also three item packs on sale now for PlayStation 4 and PS5.

Two months ago, CAPCOM announced that 4 million copies of the game have been sold worldwide. When it was launched, sales were about 3 million copies. It has yet to take one of the spots in CAPCOM’s top ten platinum titles.

Aside from this new announcement, the three item packs on sale now are all paid DLCs. This includes the In-Game Rewards, Racoon City Mascot Charm, and the Survival Pack.

Resident Evil Village is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
