VIZ announced that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure art book, JoJo 6251: The World of Hirohiko Araki, will be released in the spring of 2022. There is no fixed release date yet. The hardcover compendium includes art from volumes 1 to 4, as well as character and stand profiles. There’s also a timeline of events and a helpful glossary of the series’ terminology.
JoJo 6251: The World of Hirohiko Araki first came out in Japan on December 10, 1993. It came out while Araki was still working Diamond is unbreakable, as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure part 4 ran until December 1995. There are colored spreads and cuts from the manga in the art book. In addition to character profiles, there is also a pedigree of the Joestar family. Of course, since Shueisha and Lucky Land Communications released the art book mid-time Diamond is unbreakable, characters like Giorno and Jolyne do not appear in the book or in the family tree.
Speaking of Jolyne, David Production has announced the anime adaptation of Stone Ocean, as well as an upcoming Nendoroid from Jolyne. For those who could visit Hakata later this year, an exhibition called JOJO WORLD will run in HAKATA from July 16 to September 12, 2021. The stands and attractions are inspired by the first five JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure components.
The English version of JoJo 6251: The World of Hirohiko Araki will be published in the spring of 2022.
