Watch Big Timber

The new reality series Big Timber follows Kevin Wenstob and his crew of loggers who manage the cedar timber on his claim on Vancouver Island.

Top-quality cedar can bring huge sums of money, $30,000 per log depending on size and quality. This is a lucrative business for Wenstob and his crew. He owns a massive mill, and this series follows the crew as they wrestle the massive logs and mill them down.

The series originally aired on the History Channel in 2021 and now has released the first season that consists of 10 episodes on Netflix. The scenery is amazing, and the show has a goofy, fun quality to it. It is currently at number 7 on the Netflix top tv shows list.

It reminds one of Gold Rush: Alaska but with wood instead of gold. Check it out.

Watch Elize Matsunaga: Once Upon A Crime

The limited series Elize Matsunaga: Once Upon A Crime is the story of Elize Matsunaga’s horrific crime, as told by herself.

In Brazil, prisoners are furloughed, so Matsunaga uses her time to talk to Eliza Capai about her story and her motivation to brutally murder her husband. She has decided to film this interview so that her daughter, a toddler at the time of the murder, will know what really happened.

Her husband, Marcos, was an heir to the Yoki company that was preparing to sell to General Foods for $857 million. The couple was having major difficulties that led to Elize shooting him, and then she dismembered him. As she tells her story, she makes herself out to be the victim. Police and reporters present during the discovery of the bags with body parts in them, wondering if this was really a crime of passion, as Elize has stated.

It is a sensational story that true crime fans will be interested in hearing.
