PS5 Stock News for Amazon UK Users
News of the new PS5 stock slated for July has been shared by tracker accounts this week.
And from what’s been shared so far, it looks like Amazon UK could be the next store offering thousands more consoles to buy.
As always, these reports should be taken with a grain of salt until we learn more from official sources.
As Amazon UK is expected to offer a large inventory this week, some others could be added as well.
Some of the list currently being circulated is ASDA and John Lewis, as well as Smyths Toys and Very.
There is currently only a set of dates for these PlayStation drops to take place, but this could be shortened and become much more apparent as we get closer to retail events.
And based on what’s been shared so far, the next drop in PS5 stock could happen as early as Tuesday, July 13.
This could be joined by John Lewis on July 13, with both PlayStation 5 stock dropping between 8am and 11am BST.
As mentioned above, this is a predicted release date, meaning it could also fall between July 13 and July 21.
Meanwhile, ASDA and Very PS5 replenishment could begin on July 14, with a July 21 deadline.
Here’s the forecast data shared by the PS5 Instant Twitter account as to what could happen:
- Amazon UK – July 13-21 (8-10am)
- ASDA 14-21 (8-11am)
- John Lewis 13-22nd 7-9 o’clock
- Smyths Toys – July 14-17
- Very 14-22nd (9-11am)
One thing to note is that these dates are shared regarding future PS5 stock online.
And there’s a chance other leading retailers will be offering new bundles in store before the end of the week.
It follows a surprising drop in PlayStation 5 inventory this weekend, which started at ShopTo and Scan.
The PlayStation 5 has also been in stock at Argos. The consoles were available regionally, both in browsers and through the Argos app.
Due to the nature of the drop and the fact that it is a collection only, customers are encouraged to check with their local retailer to see if additional consoles are available.
Knowing when a PS5 replenishment is due can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles their shipments.
And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:
AMAZON UNITED KINGDOM: Amazon UK works better under tension, but still has a few kinks worth noting. Creating an account with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wish list before checking out. More stock is expected in July.
ARGOS: The Argos website is infamous for crashing and not being able to complete purchases when there is a lot of site traffic. Inventory trackers recommend using the Argos mobile app and keeping an eye on local store listings.
GAME: GAME is a UK retailer offering the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. The next PS5 stock update is expected to start in early July.
